About My Family

Hello. My name is Evangelist Yoo Jeong-min. I was born in an obstetrics and gynecology clinic in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, and was raised by my father, a deacon, and my mother, a deaconess. I have one younger sister, and I am the eldest. My family’s religious background is in the Full Gospel Church of God in Korea, but upon moving to Toronto, we transferred to a Baptist church.

I married my wife in October 2019, and our first son was born in Korea in February 2022. Our second son was born in Canada in March 2024. By God’s grace, I spend every day with my wife and two children filled with fun and excitement. Raising our two sons with my wife, we learn about God’s love and our Father, and we live happily together.

About My Church Plant

Our worship house church is located in an area with a large Black and elderly population. Currently, we have a deacon, a couple and one young person. We hold a Wednesday prayer meeting, where we reflect on the Word we heard on Sunday and pray for it. On Sundays, we minister under the slogan, “Become a church that trusts in God and upholds His way through the Word, prayer, and praise.”

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for our family as we work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord will bring leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.
