About My Family
I am from Birmingham, Ala., and attended the University of Alabama for my undergraduate degree and then Luther Rice Seminary. Before planting churches, I spent 12 years serving in vocational ministry as a worship pastor.
In 2015, I married Lacy, a biblical counselor who loves hosting people in our home. We have one daughter and love spending time outside in the Colorado outdoors as a family.
After our wedding, we honeymooned in Denver and both fell in love with the city and its people. Neither of us could shake the call to serve the people of Denver. In 2020, we finally moved to the city to plant The Local Church in Arvada. Our prayer is that God would use us to be light and Christ’s love to the people of the Olde Town Arvada area and to everyone they meet throughout their lives.

About My Church Plant
Our ministry is to engage the city of Arvada, make disciples and plant a Jesus-centered, multiplying church. Put simply, we want to plant a local church for local people with a local mission.
We believe the most strategic way of impacting the world is to start within your local context. This is how we came to name our church, The Local Church.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
