About My Family
My wife, Joan, and I come from the Underground House Church in China. We came to United States to study at seminary so that we could be equipped for God’s kingdom work. Before planting in a church at Bellevue, Wash., we spent seven years serving in the Chinese Students Fellowship at Dallas Baptist University. When we traveled to Seattle, we saw the great need for the gospel among the Chinese students in the Bellevue, area and knew God was calling us to move here and start a Chinese church.
About My Ministry
The Chinese population in Bellevue grew 74% from 2000–2010, and by 2010 Chinese people comprised 11% of the total population (11,703 people). The number has continued to grow since then. There are also many Chinese students who are currently studying in this area, most of whom have never heard of Jesus before. There is a great need for evangelism. Rock Chinese Church is being planted to meet this need.
