About My Family
I was born in Goshen, Ind., grew up in Port Charlotte, Fla., went to college in Rome, Ga., and seminary in Louisville, Ky. I have two church music degrees that served me well when I was leading music and worship.
At a summer boys' camp, I came to a personal understanding about who Jesus is and what He has done for me. I trusted in Him to save me, and I surrendered my life to Him. Following Jesus has been a lifetime of blessing and adventure.
Kelli and I met in college and married in 1983. We have two adult children, both married with children of their own. They live in Calgary, Alberta, and Lancaster, Pa. They love Jesus. We are so proud of them and their families!

About My Ministry
Our adventure in Pennsylvania/South Jersey began a few decades ago when we joined a church staff in Williamsport, Pa. We grew there and fell in love with the people and the place. Eventually, I became the pastor (not my plan).
Along the way, I became involved in disaster relief and discovered a passion for the work that my congregation recognized and encouraged. In 2015, the Baptist Convention of Pennsylvania/South Jersey asked me to raise my own support to serve as the disaster relief director.
At the same time, the North American Mission Board endorsed me as an evangelism catalyst to serve in the position that God was calling me to. So, we took the leap of faith, and we're loving it!
