About My Family

Jiyeon and I have been married since 2003. I am the lead planter and pastor at Holy Wave Church, and Jiyeon is a piano teacher.

We have two boys. Jehee is 15 years old, and Jeyu is 11 years old. They both play baseball. We love sports.

About My Church Plant

I have been serving Korean churches in San Diego since 2007. In 2019, I was called to serve the Asian community.

I planted Holy Wave Church in 2019, where I currently serve as a lead pastor.

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom we speak. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith and live on mission. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.

Participate

Build relationships with missionaries and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Send gifts and cards on birthdays and anniversaries.
