About My Family
I am married to Kim, who is a former clothing designer for toddlers. We have been blessed with three daughters; Stella (23), Ella (20) and Angela (17). They love music and traveling. I met Kim at a campus meeting, and we had a courtship of 10 years. Both of us were born in South Korea and moved to America in 2001.
Before coming to Canada in 2005, we lived in Virginia and Georgia in the U.S. for four years. The Greater Toronto Area has been our home for many wonderful years.
After I complete my doctoral studies at Knox College, we are partnering with Interserve, an international mission organization, to serve the Korean diaspora and new Canadians, in particular, Muslim refugees and unreached people groups. I love to meet people. I enjoy reaching out to new people to share the good news of Christ.

About My Church Plant
I became certain of my call to ministry during my time at university. During those years, I became more committed to the mission of God as a leader of law school students. The title I treasure most is being a minister of God’s Word. This is a grace that propels me to serve God’s people and motivates me to make an impact for God’s kingdom.
After 22 years of serving in the church, I am still thankful to be serving God and the people of God as a minister of God’s Word. I have focused my ministry on multiplying God's home into the fields of everyday life. In particular, I desire to reach out to the unreached people groups in North America. Currently, my church is reaching out to Persians, Yezidis and Tibetan peoples with the goal of planting ethnic churches.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
