About My Family

Orleusa and I have been married for 41 years. Thirty-five years of this time has been dedicated to Christian ministry and preaching the gospel in Brazil and in closed countries.

We have two children, Luisa and Lucas, and are the grandparents of three beautiful girls.

Orleusa has been a faithful companion and her passion for Jesus and her sense of organization make our work much easier. After 20 years of planting churches in Southeast Asia, we moved to South Florida where we currently live engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission.

About My Church Plant

After returning from China where we planted a church, we noticed the growing number of Brazilian immigrants in South Florida, lost in secularism and curious to know more about God. We focus on Boca Raton where in November 2020 we started a community of six people at CrossBridge Church.

We have used sports, music, social service and potlucks, where Brazilians felt at home and open to hear the gospel songs. In a short time, we went from six to 60 people. Conversions and baptisms took place, and today we have established a discipleship program that involves 50 people and their families.

Our goal is to reach the 90,000 Brazilians who live around Boca Raton.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for our family as we work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord brings leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.
