About My Family
My wife, Sandra, and I are originally from Colombia. I came to Christ at 17 at a youth camp near my hometown in the southeastern plains, close to the Amazon jungle. A few months after my conversion, the Lord brought me to the U.S. for theological and ministry preparation and returned to Colombia seven years later to serve as a youth pastor and evangelist from my home church.
Sandra came to Christ at the age of 23 at the church where I was serving. She was finishing her education in fashion design and working as a model when we met and began to date. We got married in February of 1993 and committed to serving Jesus together for the rest of our lives. We came to the U.S. the next year to obtain further education and to serve the Lord furthering His kingdom here in the USA and abroad. We have three boys and two daughters-in-law.

About My Church Plant
When Sandra and I met, we knew we had the same passion: to make Jesus known to those who don’t know Him. We feel that many people do not reject Jesus, but their conception of His church and His followers. For this reason, we strive to showing the relevancy and attractiveness of God’s teachings for today’s life in a way that is compelling. I have done this via evangelism, apologetics, leadership development and church planting.
We dream of a church that reflects the multicultural and bilingual nature of Miami, where people come to faith in Jesus in a real and non-religious way, and where they are trained to be instruments for transformation in His hands for society Monday through Friday. We dream of individuals who leverage their own story, passions and platform of influence to create a ripple effect for the gospel worldwide.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
