About My Family
During our time as students at California Baptist University (CBU), the Lord grew our vision, desires, and actions to reflect the gospel more fully.
Devyn played women’s water polo for four years, while serving in athletic ministry within her team and the broader athletic community. I was deeply involved in STEM Bible studies and discipleship groups, and I served this past year as a Freshman Hall Resident Advisor, where I had opportunities to evangelize and minister to students in my residence hall.
We are passionate about returning to the place where God transformed our lives and deepened our desire to live for His glory. We hope to use this season to be trained, discipled, and equipped for long-term ministry, ultimately serving overseas wherever the Lord leads.

About My Ministry
Although CBU is a Baptist university, only about one-third of the students are active, committed believers. Within athletics, that percentage is even smaller, as many athletes attend primarily for their sport and scholarship opportunities rather than for faith. Because of this, there is such a great opportunity for ministry and discipleship on campus. Our ministry seeks to evangelize the lost, establish new believers in their faith, and equip them to live as disciple-makers so they can extend the gospel out onto campus and into the world for God’s glory and their joy. We’ve seen firsthand how God uses the time at university to shape hearts for a lifetime, and we consider it a deep joy to labor on campus through our local church.
