About My Family

I have been married for 29 years and have a daughter named Maggie. She is at Clemson University. I served with NAMB in Des Moines, Iowa, for almost 20 years at Friendship Baptist Center. I train churches and non-profits on poverty mindsets and effective ministries to those impacted by poverty.

About My Ministry

I serve at Graffiti Community Ministries as the program director. I help lead their ministries reach the community. They serve those living in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. We serve the unhoused who are living in the park and those living in the community around the church. I will help serve the children and adults in the community through meeting different needs and utilizing the strengths of this diverse community.

Sharing Christ’s love at Graffiti in New York City is a blessing. I will also help with partnerships and missions teams who want to engage the lower east side.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people of the Lower East Side. Pray God will provide financial partners. We need financial help for ministries and the staff. Pray relationships will be built and needs will be met. Pray for those who have seen needs and those who have unseen needs.

Participate

Build relationships with missionaries and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries, so you can send gifts and cards. Become a financial partner. Come on a missions trip to help with VBS or plug into our weekly ministries.
Learn the ministry strategy and context, so you can provide relevant resources. Support a missionary financially.
