About My Family
My wife, Gemma, and I became followers of Jesus in 2004 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Since then, we have been actively involved in our local church and led a small church plant in the city.
We moved to Edmonton in 2013 and, after being members of an established church for several years, felt a longing to be in a church where we could actively serve and grow with the congregation.
In 2019, we joined Filipino International Baptist Church. Prior to joining, I was gripped by these lines in a poem “Only one life t’will soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last.” This, together with much of God’s providence and the desire to share the gospel, led us to lead the new church plant, Filipino International Baptist Church Southwest.
We have one adult son named Charles, one teenage son named John and our cute little dog, Pompeo.

About My Church Plant
In 2018, God laid on the hearts of the people of Filipino International Baptist Church (FIBC) of Edmonton, a vision of planting 30 churches by the year 2030 throughout Edmonton and the surrounding areas. It is this vision that led to the planting of FIBC- Southwest.
As the name suggests, Filipino International Baptist Church-Southwest is a satellite church of FIBC-Edmonton and is located in the southwest part of the city. Although the name carries our ethnic heritage, we are an English-speaking congregation, though mostly of Asian descent, who, by the grace of God, decided to worship God together by proclaiming the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ through gatherings, outreach and in our personal lives and relationships.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
