About My Family
I am a native of Cordele, Ga., and a graduate of the University of Georgia and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. I have served in many different ministry capacities, with most of my ministry (19 years) being student pastor at Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Ga.
I married my bride, Julie, in 1988 at First Baptist of downtown Jacksonville, Fla. We have two adult children and one amazing grandson. We have served large and small churches. I served as a vocational evangelist for two different seasons, a lead pastor of two different churches, and now we have followed God’s call to plant a multiethnic, multi-generational, bilingual church in Gainesville, Ga.

About My Church Plant
God led us to plant Transformation Church in a very neglected, poor part of Hall County, Georgia. This area is predominantly Hispanic. Our church is multicultural, multi-generational and bilingual. Our services are in Spanish and in English. I’m blessed to have a gifted worship pastor who sings some of the verses in Spanish.
I share the pulpit with our pastor of Transformacion en Espanol. We want to be a church where anyone can be transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. The population of Hall County is predicted to triple in the next 30 years, so we must continue to plant new churches. We are blessed to partner with Truett McConnell University and be a laboratory for students to gain valuable ministry experience before sending them out to plant new churches.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
