About My Family
We are the Van Waardhuizens. Michael, Ally, Aksel (5), Flora (3) and Frances (1) make up our little family. We are all excitable, loud and love to have fun.
Ally and I have been married for eight years, enjoying all of the moments we had together in Cedar Falls, Iowa, where we met, dated, married and started ministry together. We love coffee, people, books (Michael), music/art (Ally) and can’t wait to see how God changes our family through our participation in His kingdom work in Denver.

About My Church Plant
We are a church plant called Capitol City Church. God called us to plant a church first in Colorado and in the Baker neighborhood of Denver second. We have fallen in love with not only the city, but that neighborhood in particular.
We are grateful to finally be residing in Denver and are longing to be part of what God is doing here as we seek the renewal of the city through the renewal of the citizens.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
