About My Family

I have been married to my bride, Laura, for 35 years. We have two sons. Matthew is 31 years old, and Michael is 26. Matthew is married to Isairi. We have four grandchildren—Sean, Liam, Eliana and Sophie.

About My Church Plant

I have lived in South Florida for more than 54 years. I spent 31 years working for the Miami Dade County government, from part-time toll collector to construction manager and leading the maintenance and construction division of Miami Dade Parks and Recreation Department.

When not at work, I spent most of my time as a servant leader in different ministries to eventually becoming a full-time member of the pastoral staff for Christ Fellowship Baptist Church. I also served as the director of Spanish ministries, global missions and as associate pastor for the West Kendall campus.

Today I serve as a member of the pastoral and leadership team for a new church plant in Miami called Christ In Us Church. My greatest achievement has been to facilitate and lead the planting of new churches throughout Cuba and Latin America.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom we speak. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith and live on mission. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.

Participate

Build relationships with missionaries and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries, so you can send gifts and cards.
Learn the ministry strategy and context, so you can provide relevant resources. Support a missionary financially.
