About My Family
Sarah and I have been married since 2013 and have three amazing boys: Everett, Luca and Finley. I grew up in Canada, and Sarah grew up in Atlanta, Ga. We met while I was on staff at First Baptist Church, Jonesboro, Ga.
We both come from families with ministry backgrounds and have each felt a clear call of God on our lives to ministry as part of that continued story.

About My Church Plant
I served on staff at First Baptist Church, Jonesboro, Ga., for almost eight years as their college and young adults minister before feeling God's call to plant a church in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Along the way, I have also had opportunities to speak as an itinerant preacher with Blackaby Ministries International (blackaby.net) and have authored two books with my brother.
In 2017, I began to sense God stirring my heart toward a new ministry. As I began to pray specifically about what He might want me to do next, the pieces began to fall into place for church planting. As a Canadian citizen, my heart has always been broken for the spiritual need in Canada. Slowly, God began to draw both my wife and me to the west coast of Canada to be involved in a story much bigger than we could see!

NAMB Church Planting
Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.
