About My Family
We’re the Johnsons! We met through college ministry and got married on New Year’s Eve in 2021. For the past several years, we’ve lived and served in Austin, Texas, where I was the college director at the Austin Stone, and Hannah serves on the Recovery Ministry team.
Before that, Hannah spent four years on staff with Athletes in Action at the University of Texas. Together, we’ve discipled students, led missional communities and poured our lives into the next generation.

About My Church Plant
We are planting The Way—a church that exists to help every person finds his or her way back to God. Austin is growing rapidly (100 people move here a day), yet many are spiritually hungry and disconnected from Christ and His Church. God is calling us to form a community that reflects the love, truth and diversity of His kingdom—starting in every high rise, alleyway and dorm room in downtown Austin.
We are partnered with The Salt Network, a church-planting movement with a heart for university campuses. As part of this network, we will launch a college ministry to strategically reach students at the University of Texas—equipping them to know Jesus, to grow as disciples and to be sent to impact the world.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
