About My Family
I grew up in a military family, living most of my life in Southern California. My family started attending church more consistently in 2015, and I initially felt drawn toward Christ.
I was involved in youth groups through my middle and high-school years, where I learned more about living for Christ. I became involved with Challenge at the start of my freshman year of college, in fall of 2021. One of the girls on staff met me and shared the gospel with me. Through one-on-one discipleship she helped me to understand valuable lessons about my salvation through Christ, reading and applying God’s Word, participating and serving in fellowship and sharing the gospel with others.
I was part of Challenge’s core team of student leaders for all four years of college and have gotten several opportunities to grow and share my faith with others.

About My Ministry
Christian Challenge is a student organization at University of California (UC) Santa Cruz that wants to help people connect with an authentic group of friends, explore what it means to take the next step in their relationship with Jesus and together find practical ways to change our world. We hope to create an environment where everyone feels welcome to come make new friends and explore spiritual things. We do this through small group Bible studies, fun events, one-on-one discipleship, community service projects, retreats, conferences and missions trips.
