About My Family
Over the past several years, I have served through Challenge at California Baptist University (CBU). After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in education, I served with the International Mission Board (IMB) as a journeyman in Southeast Asia and developed a sincere heart for ministry and missions work. Now as part of Challenge, the campus ministry at CBU, I see how the college years are such a critical time and that college students are more reachable, teachable and sendable in this season of life than in any other season. I love being able to help them understand God's heart for all people to know Him, teaching them how to live biblically and encouraging them to pass that on to others both on campus and in the church
About My Ministry
California Baptist University is in Southern California and has an on-campus population of about 3,000 with more than 8,000 students total in attendance. The student body is very diverse and includes a large international population as well as a rapidly increasing non-believing one. Challenge invites students to know Christ, challenges them to live their lives as biblical followers of Jesus and encourages them to teach others to do the same. We desire to be disciples who make disciples and pass on that same biblical pattern to students as they in turn invest in the lives of students on campus, in their local church and through overseas opportunities. I hope they will believe that God's heart is for every nation, tribe and tongue to know His Son, Jesus Christ, and to worship Him alone.
