About My Family
Hello! I was born and raised in Cottleville, Mo., but have called Kirksville, Mo., my home for the past 4.5 years. In 2020, I moved to Kirksville to pursue a bachelor’s degree in exercise science at Truman State University.
I’ve always had a passion and determination for learning and things of faith. After two years of searching for a community of believers to walk with me by faith on this campus, I was introduced to the Baptist Student Union (BSU). I worked part-time after school as a teacher, but as God made evident early in life, I was to answer a higher calling.
In spring 2024, after leading a few small groups and organizing outreach events, God asked me to take a leap of faith to continue reaching students as my vocation! I've been ignited to share the love of Christ and the gospel with students and raising disciple-makers.

About My Ministry
My role at the BSU is as an apprentice of a collegiate missionary. I have the privilege of learning how collegiate ministry operates by planning and organizing outreach events, constructing weekly worship nights, training student leaders and displaying the love of Christ to international students by serving. This includes, but certainly is not limited to, rides to Walmart and sharing Truth through conversations.
At the time I joined, the BSU had eight students. Now, the BSU has grown to 30 students and four college-aged members from the community, and we are serving over 20 international students! It is safe to say that God has answered prayers to reach students, but as always, the hope is to reach even more! This growing, fast-paced ministry has taught me to rely on God and others to thrive in the lows and the highs this life offers.
