About My Family

Since I was a little boy, I have felt the call to be a missionary. My heart yearns to help and serve those who have not had the opportunity to hear the gospel or to be discipled.

I met my wife, Rebecca, when I went to serve on the mission field. She grew up as a missionary kid, her father served more than 30 years in the country of Honduras. We got married and went straight into full-time missions work.

We have been blessed with four wonderful children: Aiden, Evelyn, Tristen and Nehemiah. Rebecca homeschools our children and helps me in accounting and counseling ministry. We are passionate about ministry and we work, teach and serve as a family unit. God has been so faithful to keep us close and give us the strength to stay strong through great trials and tribulations.

About My Church Plant

God has called our family into ministry and missions. After serving together on the mission field in Honduras for 17 years, we felt God calling us to work and build up the Hispanic evangelical church in the United States, specifically New Orleans. New Orleans is a transient city and that is why we believe God has called us here to raise up disciples to send all over the U.S. and even to other parts of the world.

The name of our church is Lakeshore Español, located in New Orleans, La., on New Orleans-Hammond Hwy. We are a Hispanic, bilingual congregation. We are focused on helping build strong family units through biblical study and practical daily application. We focus on building passion for God, repentance of sin, openness through accountability, living victoriously and living each day with eternity in mind.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for our children as they are in the middle of the biggest transition of their lives, moving to the United States. Pray for family unity and openness with each other. Pray for our outreaches to the the Hispanic community and for the teams who come to help. Pray for our ESL class. Pray for wisdom on how and when to start, for those who will attend the course and for disciples. Pray the Holy Spirit will help us make connections and prepare the hearts of those who will hear the gospel.
