About My Family

I'm from Alabama and I moved to Layton Utah in October of 2023. I guess some fun facts would be that I have two siblings, a younger brother and an older sister, I play the drums, and I love coffee. I attained my bachelors degree in psychology from Troy university in 2022 and then started the graduate program for clinical mental health counseling the same year. In the spring of 2023 God began to put Utah on my heart. In various conversations and instances Utah just kept coming up. So, in the summer of 2023 I came to Utah on GenSend, a summer long mission trip for college students. Over the summer God burdened my heart for the people of Utah, but specifically the members of the L.D.S. church. Through God's grace and provision I was able to move back to Utah just a couple months after I got home. Now I live to tell the people of Utah of God.

About My Church Plant

I desire to see the L.D.S people come to know the Jesus of the bible. Most of my ministry is spent with young adults in the L.D.S. church. This can look like meeting up weekly for bible studies, going to institute (their free and public seminary) with them, spending the day at temple square talking to the missionaries there, hosting community events and worship nights, and then meeting them in the workplace. It's not particularly difficult to find someone who is L.D.S considering the city I serve in, Kaysville, is 95% L.D.S. The challenge is breaking down the barriers of their culture. It is common for L.D.S. individuals to assume we believe the same things which to me is the big challenge. Before the Gospel can really be shared, the has to be a sort of deconstruction. These things are difficult but God is faithful.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

I would like to have your prayers about anything you desire or that the Lord lays on your heart, but if you'd like specifics here are some. - Endurance for me and my church family to continue to share the Gospel without growing weary. -Courage to share the Gospel as often as the opportunity arises. -Unity of the body in Kaysville and surrounding cities. That we would lean on and encourage one another. -That God would call people out of the L.D.S. church and to Himself.
