About My Family
My wife, Elena, and I are from El Salvador. We hold both Canadian and American citizenship. We have been married for 34 years and have three grown children—Christian, William and Diana—and two beautiful granddaughters, Crystal Sophia and Tatiana.
We have planted three churches in Oregon and continue to pursue our calling to planting healthy, multiplying churches and building and developing leaders to serve their own generation.
We love biking, hiking, traveling and meeting new people. We love to invite people to our home to eat, laugh and have fun. I enjoy telling jokes and stories.

About My Church Plant
Our desire is to build a multi-generational, multiethnic community. We are committed to reaching the second generation of immigrants in the Portland area. Our heart is to establish missional communities who learn, love and live the gospel in the city.
My ambition has always been to preach the good news where the name of Christ has never been heard, rather than where a church has already been started by someone else (Romans 15:20).
We cannot do this work alone; it requires many partners from all over the world to come together with one vision, and that is to reach the unreached with the gospel.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
