About My Family
Taylor and I have been married for more than two years now and are encouraged as we see and learn what God has in store for us in Colorado! Taylor is doing her residency/Ph.D. program in pathology at Colorado State University and has been enjoying her program. In addition to work for me, I am taking two seminary courses this semester: Pastoral Ministry and Church Planting. We have loved getting to experience all of the new food and options that Fort Collins offers. We’ve been able to hit some new national parks, which Taylor has now visited more than 27% of the 400+ total.
I’m currently reading:
The Knowledge of the Holy by A.W. Tozer
An Unhurried Leader by Alan Fadling
Breaking the Huddle: How your community can grow its witness by Everts, Schaupp, & Gordon

About My Ministry
The first few months of ministry at Colorado State University (CSU) have been challenging, forcing me to grow, and been really exciting, among so many other things. There are definite parallels to my past experience at Virginia Tech, but I am definitely playing on a different field now. It has been encouraging to work with our group of students returning from last year and see some new students be grafted into that group as well as watch Challenge grow overall in some healthy aspects of its culture.
