About My Family

Tara and I grew up in southeast Michigan. I was saved by God’s grace at a young age while attending Wixom Christian School. Tara responded to the gospel in her bedroom when she was 15. We started dating in high school and were married in 2001. We began serving together in youth ministry when we were 18 and have been serving together ever since.

We moved to Arizona in 2002 to serve at Northern Hills Community Church. Serving there was one of the greatest privileges we could have imagined. The church was a life-giving community for our family and we thought we would never leave. However, God had other plans. We believe God has led us to plant Mission Church in New Hudson, Michigan, and join God’s activity to plant other churches in Oakland County.

We have six children ranging in age from 5 to 19.

About My Church Plant

Mission Church exists to glorify God, make disciples, and plant churches.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for our family as we work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord continues to bring leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.
