About My Family
Mahala and I have been married since 2023, the same year we moved from northern Virginia to Crestview to help plant Pillar Church. I am a second-generation church planter, having grown up watching my parents help plant many churches, primarily in Washington, D.C., and in military communities across the world. My dad founded the Praetorian Project and was a vice president at NAMB. That experience gave me a deep love for the local church and a strong desire to see the Great Commission fulfilled through it.
I gave my life to Christ at 17 and felt called into ministry soon after. Mahala grew up in New England on the mission field. Seeing the spiritual deadness of the Northeast and the missional heart of her family, she is passionate and driven to help love the church and point the lost to Christ! We have one child, Judah!

About My Ministry
Pillar Church is planted right outside Eglin Air Force Base, and that’s no accident. The church’s desire is to engage the city, make disciples, and plant churches. We feel particularly called to reach and serve the U.S. military and their families. Pillar Church is a part of a family of multiplying churches in military communities worldwide called the Praetorian Project. This family of churches strategically positions itself in military communities to focus on long-term discipleship for highly transient people and to advance the kingdom of God among the military. We are committed to serving veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Mahala currently serves as Pillar Church’s worship leader, while I serve as the Pastor of Preaching and Vision. Our church strives to know Jesus and make Him known!
