About My Family
I had the pleasure of growing up in Canada while my family served as North American Mission Board missionaries. During this time God captivated my heart for church planting and missions. God relocated my family to Georgia, where I graduated high school and went to college.
My wife, Tarin, and I met when we were 16 in a candy store in her hometown of Edisto Island, S.C. I was on vacation, and she was working at the candy store. We got married several years later and knew that God was calling us to serve Him in His church.
We moved to New Orleans to attend seminary and moved to Boston in the summer of 2020.

About My Church Plant
Tarin and I served at Lakeshore Church while in seminary. I served as Pastor of Shepherding and Discipleship, and Tarin served through her counseling ministry and ministry to women. During this season, God birthed in us a passion for church planting. He has now called us to plant Life Community Church in Weymouth, Mass., where I serve as the lead pastor.
NAMB Church Planting
Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity.
