About My Family
My wife is Lalaine A. Perlawan. We have been married for almost 26 years. We don’t have children and most of our siblings are in the Philippines. Both of our parents are already deceased.
About My Ministry
My wife and I have been ministering with Filam Bible Church (formerly Filipino American Christian Fellowship) since 2015. Now I am also an SBC-endorsed healthcare chaplain at CoxHealth Hospital in Springfield, Mo. We do also outreach and visit the Filipino community in Lebanon, Mo., once a month.
SBC Chaplaincy
Chaplaincy is a vital frontline ministry and extension of the local church. Chaplains reach the lost among the thousands of men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces, correctional facilities, healthcare settings, public safety, disaster relief sites, and corporate environments. SBC Chaplains care for the broken, offer hope to the hopeless, and advance the gospel of Jesus Christ in hard-to-reach places.

These qualification requirements vary according to the type of chaplaincy or counseling ministry involved but all are expected to meet a high level of ministerial competence.
