About My Family
I am husband to Immaculee and the father of five children. Immaculee and I have been happily married for 15 years. I work as an inter-cultural trainer and social worker. Through social work, I support adults and children in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
I have shared at different churches and with groups about my refugee journey and the ministry I do in Uganda to support refugees and poor Ugandans.
I was originally born in Democratic Republic of the Congo, which was known as Zaire. Due to political instability and a civil war, I fled into the neighboring country of Uganda where I lived as a refugee for almost 10 years. I immigrated to Canada 15 years ago from Uganda. Since 2009, I have worked and supported newcomers in various aspects of life.
I love to play soccer, see people accept Jesus, travel, play basketball and meet new people.

About My Church Plant
Immaculee and I love seeing people accept Jesus and live a life full of hope. I founded Giving Refugees Hope in Uganda, which has positively impacted hundreds of refugees in Uganda through projects like a children’s home, feeding program, short mission trips, a medical centre, a training centre and discipleship. Through this ministry, many people have been saved and lives transformed.
I am excited to have the additional calling to plant a church west of Edmonton.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
