About My Family

I am a retired engineer with the distinct privilege of serving as a volunteer chaplain in several ministries. I am father to two daughters and have three grandchildren.

About My Ministry

I am an Arizona Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief chaplain. I serve as a deacon and treasurer at Black Mountain Baptist Church in Cave Creek, Ariz. Additionally, I teach adult Sunday School and am an AWANA instructor in the children's ministry. I teach Dave Ramsey  courses, too. I am also developing a regional CARE team to assist the community in caring for different types of trauma victims.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom I minister. Pray for people to come to saving faith in Jesus. Pray for more to join missionaries and chaplains.

Participate

Chaplains serve as an extension of the local church in places that other church members and staff sometimes cannot go. Explore the opportunities to extend the reach of your church by becoming a chaplain. Support and pray for chaplains and their families.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit sendnetwork.com/PlanterFunding for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
