About My Family
My beautiful wife and I are currently serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on our first tour in the U.S. Navy at Naval Air Station Key West, Fla. We have been married for 18 years and are very blessed to have two amazing sons, who also follow the Lord, Marshall (15) and Timothy (10).
Before we joined, we spent many years working and serving in the Sierra Nevada mountains, where we hope to one day return. We enjoy learning and traveling.

About My Ministry
I am currently serving as one of the base chaplains at Naval Air Station Key West. Naval Air Station Key West is a training command that also supports 31 tenant commands. So, I get to minister to members of every service branch, many government agencies, foreign liaison officers, civilians, and their families.
I am blessed to be able to frequently minister through deck plate visits and counseling, looking for doors opened by the Holy Spirit. We hold chapel services every Sunday, where I usually get to preach the Word and, during normal times, hold weekly Bible studies and children's programs.

SBC Chaplaincy
Chaplaincy is a vital frontline ministry and extension of the local church. Chaplains reach the lost among the thousands of men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces, correctional facilities, healthcare settings, public safety, disaster relief sites and corporate environments. SBC Chaplains care for the broken, offer hope to the hopeless and advance the gospel of Jesus Christ in hard to reach places.
The qualifications expected of a Southern Baptist applying for endorsement as a chaplain are established by the using agency and the Chaplains Commission, SBC. These qualification requirements vary according to the type of chaplaincy involved but all are expected to meet a high level of ministerial competence.
