About My Family
I have had the weighty pleasure of pastoring for 16 years and love doing it alongside my family. I graduated from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and currently attend the “School of Hard Knocks” :).
Leah and I have known each other since we were kids and have done ministry together for 26 years. We’ve been married 16 years and have three kids. We enjoy hanging out with friends, thrift-shopping, hiking, sports, exercising, finding local cool spots and reading.
We started The Gathering and are multiplying micro churches because we believe there are people in America who won’t be reached by “regular church.” But we do believe micro church must meet certain requirements to be a biblically faithful church (e.g., qualified leadership, faithful teaching, discipleship, purity, baptism, evangelism).

About My Church Plant
At The Gathering, we love Jesus and seek to love like Jesus. If you visit The Gathering, you will see that we value Jesus, relationships, authenticity, simplicity and replication. Our mission is to welcome people into our hearts and homes and share the good news of Jesus with them.
Our dream is to be an authentic community intentionally and lovingly engaging our peers, families, coworkers and neighbors with the good news of Jesus. We want to exist for the outsider and welcome those unlikely to enter a church building. We want to replicate and start at least seven micro churches by 2030.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
