About My Family
Trip was raised in Lexington, S.C., and Lysandra grew up in Kutztown, Pa. God pulled up their roots after college and planted them in Utah. The Lord began to stir in Trip’s hearts a longing for Latter-Day Saints (LDS) to know the biblical Jesus when he first came to Utah on a summer mission trip in 2021.
Lysandra was living on mission in London in 2017 and 2018. It was there that God began to work in her a heart for Muslims to know Isa (Jesus). The two met at a Christian fall retreat in Utah in 2022, and are now married and have moved to Kaysville, Utah. They now work alongside Redemption Church North Davis in a pursuit to reach the LDS and local Muslims with the gospel of grace!
In his free time, Trip enjoys reading in coffee shops, snowboarding & pickleball. Lysandra loves drinking tea with friends, traveling and watching movies.

About My Church Plant
The predominant religious culture in Utah (Mormonism or Latter Day Saints (LDS)) distorts the gospel of grace by teaching that Jesus only saves those who make themselves worthy. The evangelical Christian population of Kaysville, Utah, is currently 0.5%. Lysandra and I have moved to Kaysville alongside Redemption Church to pursue the LDS with the good news of God’s grace, while seeking to make Jesus known to the Muslim communities in the surrounding cities.
Our hearts are broken for the LDS and Muslim people to know the grace of God. We will be devoting our time to pouring out God’s love to the lost by building relationships, sharing the gospel, bringing them into Jesus-centered community, and discipling new believers into deeper relationship with Jesus and His people, while teaching them how to proclaim the salvation found in Him alone.

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
