About My Family
Kaili and I met at Cedarville University as students. We spent our first year of marriage just north of Dayton, Ohio, before God opened a door for us to move to upstate New York for me to receive a full tuition scholarship for my M.Div., but more importantly, to get involved with a church that desires more churches to be planted throughout the northeast.
A year after completing my M.Div. program, I became New Hope’s first ever church planting resident the same year our first son, Cooper, was born. We have since moved to Malta, N.Y., (where we will be planting) and have another boy, Colby! People always say that we have the happiest boys, and it’s hard for me to argue because they are always putting a smile on Mom and Dad’s face.

About My Church Plant
We have been called to plant a church in Malta, N.Y.—a smaller town with big city connections. It is home to the third largest microchip manufacturer in the world, Global Foundries, and there are just more than 100,000 people within a 15-minute drive of the town building. The town has experienced movements of God’s work in the past. It was home to a Methodist camp revival meeting site during the Great Awakening and more recently had a church of more than 3,000 people start and move to another community.
What Malta has not experienced is a prolonged exposure to those who represent Jesus. We want to change that by striving to be a living, growing representation of Jesus for all generations.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
