About My Family
Hi, my name is Phillip Maddox. I am originally from Wetumpka, Alabama. I currently live in Mobile, Alabama, where I have been for the past nine years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in music from the University of Mobile in 2022.
I have since had the opportunity to serve in many ministries, including student ministry, worship ministry, young adult ministry, and missions. I have had the great privilege of leading and going on many mission trips over the years to places like Las Vegas, New York City, and Los Angeles.

About My Church Plant
This summer, I will be embarking on a new journey, a journey in which I have prayed since God broke my heart for the city in 2021. I have accepted a long-term role at Emmaus Church in Las Vegas, Nevada, where my good friend, Jon Labonte, is the lead pastor. I will have the honor and privilege of working alongside our amazing team and supporting our worship and student ministries.
I went on my first ever trip to Las Vegas in 2019, and God broke my heart for this city in 2021. I have since led many trips there and even spent six weeks as a summer missionary there through Gensend. I am super excited for what God has in store for this next chapter and expectant for all the ways He will move to take kingdom ground in Las Vegas, Nevada.
