About My Family
I am from Carrollton, Ga., and attended undergraduate at Georgia Southern University. I met my wife, Athena, at college, and we got married weeks before COVID-19 hit America on February 15, 2020. Apart from my love of God, my church and ministry, I love college football, Star Wars and running.
About My Ministry
I am approved as an SBC Army Reserve Chaplain Candidate. I am also the pastoral assistant at my church where I serve under our elders and am the college minister for our local colleges.
SBC Chaplaincy
Chaplaincy is a vital frontline ministry and extension of the local church. Chaplains reach the lost among the thousands of men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces, correctional facilities, healthcare settings, public safety, disaster relief sites and corporate environments. SBC Chaplains care for the broken, offer hope to the hopeless and advance the gospel of Jesus Christ in hard to reach places.

These qualification requirements vary according to the type of chaplaincy involved but all are expected to meet a high level of ministerial competence.
