About My Family

I am from Afghanistan and came to faith in Jesus in 2012. After ministry in Afghanistan and Tajikistan, I followed God’s call to British Columbia and in September 2024 and launched the Afghan Evangelical Fellowship of Canada in Langley, the first Afghan church in the province.

I studied at Mojdeh Theological Center and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, holding degrees in computer science and Pastoral Ministry. I have years of experience in discipleship, worship and church planting, and also serve Afghan believers worldwide through online teaching.

My wife, Najila, and I serve together in ministry and are blessed with two sons, Pouya and Benyamin. Najila plays an active role in women’s ministry within the church.

About My Church Plant

More than 8,000 Afghans have come to metro Vancouver since 2021. We feel called to plant a church to reach them and many other people with the message of Christ.

We are also committed to serving, teaching and discipling people who come to the church. Our ministry is based on the Great Commission of Jesus Christ as outlined in Matthew 28:18-20, where Jesus said: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Our ultimate goal is to continue spreading the message of God and serving others with faith, love and commitment, helping to achieve divine purposes in the lives of people.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
