About My Family
Hi! My name is Rachel, and I am so excited to be serving as director of kids ministry for Garden Church. I have lived in Oregon for my entire life, but I am brand new to the Portland area.
I have fallen in love with the city over the past few months and am thrilled to call it home. I know that working with kids is what God designed me to do. Honestly, I like them more than adults most days! I know that kids can have a saving and meaningful relationship with Jesus even from a young age.
God has called me to disciple the children of Portland through Garden Church, and I couldn't be more excited.

About My Church Plant
Garden Church is a church plant in downtown Portland, whose vision is a holistic approach to disciple-making, building families of everyday missionaries seeking to disciple the city. Discipleship doesn't need to wait until a person is an adult; it starts when he or she is young.
I will be helping to equip parents to be the main disciple-makers of their children. I'll be recruiting and training volunteers, teaching and loving our kids well, and overall providing the strategic direction for kids ministry at Garden Church. Reaching the city of Portland starts with the least of these.
