About My Family
Amy, my best friend and wife since November 29, 2006, and I are incredibly grateful for our four amazing kids, Kyle, Jordan, Elijah and Katelyne. Our journey together has been an adventure! Since 2014, we’ve had the privilege of traveling to 30 states and 20 countries, helping with church planting and serving as chaplains.
But our hearts found their home in Idaho Falls, and we’re so happy to be part of this wonderful community and our loving church family. I completed my M.A.R. in Community Chaplaincy and a graduate certificate in Biblical studies at Liberty University, which has been invaluable in my ministry. When we’re not serving, you’ll find us enjoying the beautiful Idaho outdoors, and I might be at the range—a pastime I picked up during my time as a Marine Staff Sergeant. Most importantly, making memories together as a family.

About My Ministry
Sent forth by First Baptist Church of Florence, I’m blessed to serve Idaho Falls as a missionary pastor/chaplain. My calling manifests in three distinct ways: offering spiritual guidance and leadership as an SBC-endorsed Civil Air Patrol chaplain, providing comfort and support to patients and families at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) as their hospital chaplain, and responding to crises as an emergency services chaplain with the Chaplains of Idaho.
More than anything, I strive to create a space of shared purpose among local churches, building bridges and strengthening our collective impact on this community we love.

SBC Chaplaincy
Chaplaincy is a vital frontline ministry and extension of the local church. Chaplains reach the lost among the thousands of men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces, healthcare settings, correctional facilities, public safety, disaster relief sites, and corporate environments. SBC Chaplains care for the broken, offer hope to the hopeless, and advance the gospel of Jesus Christ in hard-to-reach places.
The qualifications expected of a Southern Baptist applying for endorsement as a chaplain or counselor are established by their institution and the Chaplains Commission, SBC. These qualification requirements vary according to the type of chaplaincy or counseling ministry involved but all are expected to meet a high level of ministerial competence.
