About My Family

I grew up in the Tulsa area, specifically in the town of Collinsville, and came to know Jesus when I was 9 years old. My faith became more important to me during high school, but it wasn’t until my freshman year at Tulsa Community College that I truly discovered the joy of following Jesus. Through my involvement with the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM), my relationship with Him deepened significantly and became central to my life.

While at Tulsa Community College, I was active in BCM both years I attended. When I transferred to the University of Central Oklahoma, I knew I wanted to stay involved with BCM there as well. At the very first campus event I attended, I met my now-wife, Savannah.

I earned my undergraduate degree in sociology and graduated from UCO in May 2025.

About My Ministry

The UCO BCM was founded in 1932 by First Baptist Church of Edmond, who recognized the need for the gospel on what was then Central State’s campus. Over the past 90+ years, the ministry has grown and reached countless students. Today, we have the privilege of continuing the work the Lord began and has faithfully sustained through generations.

The ministry that I will be mainly working with is the athlete ministry here on campus. When I first came into college the only two things that I really cared about was sports and Jesus. There was a man named Kyle Thomas who sought me out in that and saw me where I was. He saw that I loved sports, so he did those things with me, but he also taught me about Jesus at any point he could. I believe that there are so many people here who need that same example who Kyle was to me.
