About My Family

I received my calling to the ministry on September 23, 1987, at the age of 25. Prior to this, I dedicated two years of service as a deacon under the guidance of my pastor. After receiving confirmation from church leadership, I embarked on a journey at the Detroit Urban Theological College, immersing myself in my studies until I completed my coursework. I was licensed as a minister in May 1990, progressing to my ordination in August 1992. My first pastoral call was in 1994.

My family is a source of great joy. I am blessed with six adult children—three sons and three daughters—whose ages span from 37 to my youngest twin boys, who are 26. Additionally, I have the honor of being a grandparent to three beautiful grandchildren aged 10, 4 and 1. For 15 years, I was a single parent before marrying my wonderful wife, Natashia, in October of 2021.

About My Church Plant

I am a passionate church planter, deeply committed to outreach initiatives and engaging with youth. I am actively involved on several community boards dedicated to aiding individuals facing mental health challenges, substance abuse issues, and homelessness. Our ministry also champions programs to support returning citizens as they reintegrate into society, providing them with the tools and resources necessary for a Fresh Start.

Our newly established church plant is nestled and thriving in the heart of Warren, Mich., renowned as one of the state’s most diverse and dynamic cities. Our church plant also houses a vital warming shelter. This shelter opens its doors each night during the harsh winter season, offering Sunday School classes and Bible study meetings to engage the youth.

NAMB Church Planting

Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

We request prayers to impact young families by helping them teach their children basic Bible fundamentals and building a foundation for godly Christian homes. We are praying to “Change a Generation Through Christian Education.”
