About My Family

After my wife and I came to faith in Christ around age 12, we met through our church’s youth group and dated throughout high school and college. Along the way, the Lord planted seeds in our hearts for a love of cities, the Northeast, and especially for church planting/revitalization.

We got married in 2011. Shortly after I joined the pastoral staff of a church in Georgia, we welcomed two children into our home over the next five years. The Lord began stirring a desire to see churches planted in Boston and throughout New England around 2023, and we began prayerfully considering what opportunities God might be leading us to pursue. We moved to the Greater Boston area in January 2025 and, in October 2025, to South Boston in particular, with the goal of planting a church in this historic neighborhood in fall 2026.

About My Church Plant

South Boston is a neighborhood of 35,000 with very limited gospel witness. Surrounded by water on three sides and largely dependent on sidewalks and buses, Southie is a very self-sufficient neighborhood known for the Irish, Italian, Polish, and Lithuanian immigrant communities that have given it a unique character.

With many young professionals moving into Southie from all over the U.S., the neighborhood’s demographics have changed greatly over the last few decades, though a high percentage of townies remain who cherish fond memories of their childhood stomping grounds. We want to see the gospel clearly and compellingly communicated to Southie’s townies, young professionals, and families through the corporate witness of a healthy local church.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for our family as we work together in ministry. Pray that the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray that the Lord will bring leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy. Pray for meeting space, financial support, believers who will come alongside the work, and unbelievers who will be reached with the gospel.
