About My Family

Sadiri (better known as Tony) and his wife (Zen) and are second-generation Filipino-Canadians. They began planting churches in December of 2020. Prior to that, Tony served at Central Edmonton Alliance Church as Pastor of Ministry Development and Missions and at Hope Mission in Edmonton as Senior Manager of Homeless Programs.

Zen is an elementary school teacher with specializations in special needs development and English as a Second Language.

Their son, Bishop, plays hockey and builds with LEGO building blocks, while their daughter, Sophie, enjoys crocheting and playing ukulele. Together, they all enjoy eating, telling jokes and living life with people.

About My Church Plant

Their church ministry, called the Supper Club is focused on the downtown core of the SEND City of Edmonton in Alberta, Canada, which is the largest-northernmost city in the world. Their target neighborhood of Blatchford is a new city development on what was formerly a municipal airport site adjacent to downtown, where developers expect more than 30,000 brand new residents in an area completely unchurched.

This community is at a social-economic and multiethnic crossroads and is close to major post-secondary institutions and places of influence. They are praying that Supper Club will be an intentional community of people who are dedicated to showing and sharing the love of Jesus by inviting their neighbors to a physical and spiritual meal.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for the planter’s family as they work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord brings leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy. Pray for their current building project on the doorstep of their target community.
