About My Family

I am married to Emily, and together we have three daughters: Ella (5), Eva (3) and Emilia (1). I began my career in nonprofit and development work overseas, utilizing my undergrad in Business Administration.

After sensing a call to pastoral ministry, I earned an M.Div. from Southeastern Seminary. I have a passion for helping others deepen their affections for Jesus, grow in Christ and worship God in all of life. I am also a huge fan of Liverpool, guitars and ice cream.

About My Church Plant

We are in the process of planting a new Christ-centered, disciple-making, multiethnic church in the city of Chicago for the glory of God. Chicago, like many places, needs more followers of Jesus who love God and love people for the good of the city. Our hope is that many would find new life in Jesus in response to the good news of His coming kingdom.

We have the joy of partnering with Chicago West Bible Church in this mission to multiply. Chicago West is a vibrant church located on the West Side of Chicago in the Austin neighborhood, planted in 2016. We are working with Chicago West to build up a team of godly, qualified men and women who will be sent out as a team. Together, we are engaging the South Side of Chicago, sharing the gospel, making disciples of Jesus and establishing a new local church.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for us in these early days as we seek to learn from and understand our neighbors on the South Side of Chicago. Pray for opportunities to meet needs and share Christ in our community. Pray for faithful, humble, missional Christians to join our team. We envision a multiethnic, multigenerational team living on mission together. Pray for college students around the city. We are currently engaging students who are open to/seeking Jesus through discovery Bible studies. Pray that God would orchestrate friendships for us individually, as a family, and within our young church community.
