About My Family
I am the husband of Hannah Kim, a pastor, and the father of three: Shalom, Irene and Victor.
I earned a Ph.D. in Preaching from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, focusing on the Apostle Paul’s church-planting preaching. I aim to build healthy churches through faithful, effective preaching.
I am the founding pastor of Everlove Church, which has become one of the most fruitful church plants in the region. From day one, Everlove has been shaped by a clear evangelistic and missional vision.
Hannah serves as the WMU’s Korean Coordinator for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board and is pursuing an M.A. in Biblical Counseling at Southwestern.
Our children’s names reflect the gospel: Shalom (Hebrew for peace), Irene (Greek for peace) and Victor because Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, is the true victor.

About My Ministry
I envision a healthy, effective church resembling the church spoken of in Acts 11:19-30. Antioch Church has three clear visions and ministries.
First, the Antioch Church spread the gospel to all ethnic groups, not only the Jew but also the Greek. Second, the Antioch Church restored people. Third, the Antioch Church helped people grow by teaching them. According to these biblical evidences, I would like to preach the gospel not only to Korean people, but also to other ethnic groups, as Antioch Church did.
A newly planted church will be a church for all unsaved and unreached people. A newly planted church will evangelize unsaved souls energetically and enthusiastically. A newly planted church will reach local people through community ministry and people all over the world through international missions.
