About My Family

Sanghun (Joseph) Lee is husband to Hannah Kim, a pastor, and the father to three children: Shalom, Irene and Victor. Joseph graduated from Emory University with a Master of Theological Studies degree and currently studies preaching and the New Testament as a Ph.D. student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

His wife, Hannah, is a very prayerful and warm-hearted woman of God. She is currently enrolled as a student earning a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and she would like to serve people with biblical-grounded counseling knowledge.

Shalom means "peace" in Hebrew, and Irene comes from the Greek word Εἰρήνη which also means "peace." The Prince of Peace is Jesus Christ, and He is the victor. In this way, Lee’s children represent Jesus Christ in their names.

About My Church Plant

Pastor Joseph envisions a healthy, effective church resembling the church spoken of in Acts 11:19-30. Antioch Church has three clear visions and ministries.

First, the Antioch Church spread the gospel to all ethnic groups, not only the Jew but also the Greek. Second, the Antioch Church restored people. Third, the Antioch Church helped people grow by teaching them. According to these biblical evidences, pastor Joseph would like to preach the gospel not only to Korean people, but also to other ethnic groups, as Antioch Church did.

A newly planted church will be a church for all unsaved and unreached people. A newly planted church will evangelize unsaved souls energetically and enthusiastically. A newly planted church will reach local people through community ministry and people all over the world through international missions.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
