About My Family

Growing up in a church that seeks to make disciples in Auburn, Ala., and around the world, I was continuously reminded of the commands in Scripture to go and make Christ known. In 2011, I had the opportunity to go on my first mission trip to New York City. It was on that trip, as a high-school student, that God began to work in my heart to prepare me for full-time missions. After that trip, I spent every break from school serving either overseas or in New York City. God broke my heart for the millions of people in New York City who do not know Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Throughout high school and college, God was continually opening doors for me to come to New York City. After spending many summers working with church plants in New York City, the door was finally opened for me to move to NYC right after graduating college in May 2018.

About My Church Plant

New York City is one of the two most influential cities in the world. Therefore, we have the opportunity to reach the world with the gospel through reaching New Yorkers with the gospel. The world has come to New York City, and we have the opportunity to take part in reaching every tribe, language, people and nation.

Currently I serve as ministry coordinator for Hope Community NYC in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I love being able to assist in creating budgets, planning events and all things admin!

I’m also passionate about mobilizing more people to spend a season of their life on mission in NYC. I am humbled to be able to serve as NAMB’s Send NYC church plant team member coordinator. Getting to walk alongside and lead other team members in this city is such a joy! God is doing a great work all across metro New York!

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

Pray

Pray that God would be glorified and His name would be made great in New York City. Pray for boldness to speak truth confidently because of the hope that I have in Christ. Pray for opportunities to meet new people and build relationships with them. Pray that the Church will continue to be salt and light across this city.

Participate

Commit to a long-term partnership with me by praying for me and supporting me monthly. Pray for me.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant.
