About My Family

Stephanie and I have been married for three years.

About My Church Plant

Stephanie and I will move to Victoria, British Columbia, in January 2022 after studying at Beeson Divinity School. We have a strong call from God to serve the people of Victoria and Canvas Church as associate pastor of student ministry. We set out to learn a new ministry context, build relationships, pray for the city and serve the community.

Canvas Church started in the Austin family's living room in September 2013 with 15 people. In September 2014, Ashley and April began hosting weekly worship gatherings in the western part of Victoria. Canvas currently has more than 400 people involved each month in worship gatherings. We also minister to more than 400 children per year through Canvas camps.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
