About My Family
I grew up in central Ohio in a Christian home and came to Christ at age 9. Although I was called to ministry at age 18, I didn't accept that call until 2004. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Ohio Christian University. Before planting The Bridge church, I served as the assistant pastor of The Gathering in Thornville for five years.
I am married to Melissa. We have three grown children, five still at home and two grandchildren.

About My Church Plant
I planted The Bridge in 2011, meeting in Somerset Elementary School. Within six months the church was out of space. We purchased their first building in Somerset before moving to Pleasantville. After extensive remodeling, we opened The Bridge Pleasantville in October 2013.
The Bridge believes that multiplication is thoroughly biblical and the model of the New Testament church. On Easter Sunday 2019, The Bridge opened another campus in Lancaster with more than 100 people in attendance. Since then they have baptized seven people.

NAMB Church Planting
Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity.
