About My Family
I was born and raised in Fall River, Massachusetts, to Azorean parents. I came to faith in my first year in college. My family was experiencing a tragedy, and a lifelong friend of mine was present by my side every step of the way. He shared the gospel with me and handed me a copy of Lecrae’s “Rebel” album. On my way home—before the first song finished—I repented of my sin and put my faith in Christ.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rhode Island College, and I am pursuing a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I am married to Kara and spend my free time at CrossFit, reading, serving at Mount Hope Church and playing piano.

About My Ministry
In 2017, through a student at the church, I was made aware of the need on campus, and I began to volunteer.
After a year, and through much prayer and counsel, I knew the Lord was leading me to be the campus missionary to Roger Williams University (RWU). In spring 2018, the club relaunched as Christian Student Fellowship (CSF).
Our goal is to cultivate disciple-makers who will seek to serve the Lord through living faithful lives marked by spreading the gospel to the nations. We instill this by emphasizing the importance of the local church and the value of church membership. The final command of Christ is the first priority of the church, so we encourage students to join in the Great Commission by being active in a local church.
