About My Family

My name is Shane Tucker, and I have been married to my beautiful wife, Sara, for 15 years. We live in southeast Kansas, and we really love the peace and quiet country life provides for us. Sara is a teacher, and she also serves as our worship leader. God has really gifted her in music. Good thing because I am not!

We are blessed with three amazing kids. Jared is 13, Jacob is 12, and Kayla is 9. I have a master of arts degree in Christian ministry from Friends University in Wichita, Kan., a Master of Divinity degree from Liberty University. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

I look forward to going through this journey with everyone, and I pray God’s grace on all of us as we run this race together.

About My Church Plant

We had our first service on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019. Planting a church is difficult, planting a rural church with minimal resources proved to be nearly impossible. But, with the grace of God and the gifts of a couple of churches we were able to secure a space for worship and get the materials we needed to open our church.

It is an exciting time for us, but there is still much work to be done. We are still in need of help, especially financial help. Please pray and see how you can help our church!

The vision of Faith Baptist Church Fredonia is to intentionally bring the gospel to Fredonia and the surrounding areas and to be an authentic community of believers who desire to love unconditionally, serve with compassion, engage the community and share Jesus without fear. Our motto is: Gather Together, Grow Together, Serve Together.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray for me and my family. Pray for the city and people of Fredonia. Pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit over this community. Pray that God goes ahead of us and prepares a place for us. Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people we meet. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith and live on mission. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.
