About My Family

I am a first generation Christian from India. In college, I gave my life to Christ and then worked for 10 years as a missionary among college students with Campus Crusade for Christ India. I met my wife, Unicey, in Cru-India. We got married on April 11, 2002. In 2011, God led us toward church planting, which led us to start a church in Hyderabad, South India.

After few years passed, in order to support our ministry, Unicey started teaching. Surprisingly, in 2017, she got a job in Clovis, N.M., so we moved.

We have two sons. Joel is 19 years, and Sam is 16. We came to know that in Albuquerque, there is no Christian church for Indians, but there is a Hindu temple. As a family, we prayed for a whole year, and with the help of NAMB and the Baptist Convention of New Mexico, we started church planting work in Albuquerque in December 2023.

About My Church Plant

Here in Albuquerque, more than 5,000 Asian Indian families are living, but out of 100 people, 99 are Hindus and a few Muslims. I have met couple of Christian families. We started Sunday services based on this foundation and will be meeting, sharing the gospel and leading them to church. Please pray for me.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom we speak. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith and live on mission. Pray I may use every opportunity to share the gospel with every Asian Indian I meet in Albuquerque.

Participate

Build relationships with missionaries and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries, so you can send gifts and cards.
Learn the ministry strategy and context, so you can provide relevant resources. Support a missionary financially.
